Another game I played in my childhood is "Cool Spot"! In this 2D platform game you have to collect a minimum amount of small red spots (30 in easy mode, 60 in normal mode and 90 in hard mode) to find the hidden cage where the protagonists' buddy is imprisoned. On the way there are plenty of enemies which have to be defeated by shooting. The controls are good, the music is great and the graphics and animations are outstanding. Overall it has excellent gameplay. Due to different difficulty settings everyone can enjoy this game. The only downside of this game is the low amount of levels (11 to be exact) but on hard difficulty it will be quite a challenge to beat this game.
