This game is very similar to "Battle for Bikini Bottom", it has almost the same graphics and animations. There are a few differences, the player can now freely choose levels, SpongeBob can be hit 5 times instead of 3, there are different difficulty settings and one can now blow different bubbles, e.g. bubbles for extra bounce, floating bubbles, strong bubbles to defeat enemies etc. The difficulty of this game is very high. There are some frustrating passages and way more items to collect, making a "100% score" very hard to achieve. This game features less levels than Battle for B.B. but the levels are more diverse and bigger. "Revenge of the Flying Dutchman" is a good platforming game although it's very challenging.
