Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is unique in the Mario Kart series because it not only features two exclamation marks (!!) in the title but also the possibility to play with two characters in one kart! The character roster has been improved in many ways and the track design is nice. This game also features fun mini-games like "Bob-omb Blast" which has been scrapped in later Mario Kart installments. The character models look okay, but the graphics are not as good as comparable Mario games like the Mario Party series and other Mario sports games. You also have the possibility to play the Grand Prix with another player, which has also been scrapped in future Mario Kart installments. Overall, it's a fun Mario Kart game with great controls.
