I really don't know why so many critics hated this game... true, multi-player options are almost non-existent and there are only four playable characters to choose, but this may also be due to space limitations on the GBA cartridge. The graphics are similar to Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The premise is to help the Shroom City citizens in order to get mini-games and Gaddgets. The mini-games are fun and well implemented. The soundtrack is good. It is very motivating to collect the mini-games due to the high amount of different characters in Shroom City and their dialogues. Do not expect a classic Mario Party game as the gameplay is quite different to those Mario Party's on the GC/Wii.
