A throwback beat em up game based on a book based on a movie based on a comic that's filled with gaming references? Sure, why not. Pretty good brawler, difficulty is fair and while not particularly long level variety is pretty good. Controls aren't always as responsive as I would have liked, getting the characters to run on cue in particular is too difficult, but overall not that bad.The light RPG aspect are unique for a game of this type but doesn't add much overall. You'll want to play with some friends though, the campaign isn't that entertaining by itself. Not a big fan of the graphical style, I appreciate 2D graphics but I would have liked a cleaner style, although I'll admit it fits the game's somewhat "hipster-ish" bent.
