    Saved!
This album has been in the back of my mind for years. I never gave it the time of day but the album cover was really memorable for whatever reason. I finally got around to listening to it and all I can be is pissed off that I didn't listen to it earlier. This HAS to be one of the best post-punk albums ever made. There's just a certain charm to the very surreal lyrics and the way it clashes with the almost droning instrumentals is just so clean. The whole record feels so streamlined as if there's a giant thread connecting the whole thing which is supported by it only being constructed of 5 tracks, adding up to a forty minute record. There's just such an authenticity to it that boosts the sincerity factor up to Pinkerton levels. It's just such a clean record for having such a raw sound behind not only the instrumentals but the vocals as well. I've honestly never heard anything quite like it, it's an experience I beg any post-punk fan will get the chance to be a part of.
