Grandia is the cheerful alternative to Final Fantasy 7. The cute characters and the touching dialogue make this one of the most exuberant RPGs of all time. The high-energy battle system is an exciting spin on the battle systems of the old days. Sure, the story is slow, but the large scale of everything is still amazing. Grandia is a sleeper hit that still deserves a lot more attention.
