    In my opinion, this film is much more memorable than many of the "classic" Disney Princess films. It has a fun, jazzy soundtrack to match the compelling New Orleans setting, and a refreshingly down-to-earth and likable heroine. And I found the romance to be surprisingly believable, unlike those between, say, Eric and Ariel, which is forced and artificial. I also can't fault the movie's teachings for children, such as the value of hard work and dedication. I loved the element of voodoo mysticism, and Dr. Facilier makes for a fun villain, though I wish the film had spent a bit more time focusing on him and his motives and background just to make his demise more climactic.
