While showing a lot of potential, Indigo Prophecy (or Fahrenheit) is a seriously flawed adventure game, and the remarkably high ratings it gets remain a mystery to me. Aside from a bit of running around and interacting with items, the gameplay consists almost entirely of long-winded sequences of quick time events or otherwise time-limited challenges. It is a prime example of lazy-ass game design, and it gets tedious fast. Then again, you play Fahrenheit for its story, right? While I certainly agree that it starts out VERY promising - a sort of supernatural thriller/drama - the writers completely lost their shit during the last act, adding one ridiculous twist after the next and destroying every bit of credibility.
