This is probably the definitive Fire Emblem game. It has everything that makest he series good, condensed in a single, choesive, expansive and epic game. The liearity in progression of early entries, coupled with a great all around cast, tons of interesting characters, many conversation options, automatic class promotio once reached the level cap, skill system and lots of mundane, political intrigue as the main basis of why the story moves, relying much less on magic. The sequel kind of udnermine some elements of the story, but played alone, it has a strong impact.
