Invented the term "college rock." Murmur to Document is one of the greatest 5 album streaks ever, the pinnacle reached with Life's Rich Pageant. Even I had written them off after Bill Berry left and they produced 3 middling albums, but they stormed back to prominence with Accelerate and Collapse Into Now, how often does that happen?? If they must call it quits, at least they went out on a high note.
