Fuck, I think this was the scariest movie I've ever seen. I'm sweating. I don't bat an eye at most "horror" movies, but it's always the paranormal stuff that gets me...

When the mom gets locked into the basement, I was actually afraid for her, and it's been a while since I've been afraid for a fictional character in a horror movie. This surely would have given me nightmares had I seen it as a kid, and it's easily one of the best horror movies I've seen in recent years.
