Saved!Filly VanilliEditing … Fuck yes, Tales of the Abyss FTW. Xillia and Vesperia are good too but the stories are crap. I'm not totally sold on this one just because I'm not sure if the handheld Tales games have been as good, but I'll be looking out for reviews and opinions.
Saved!AxersiaEditing … Hearts is actually the only handheld mothership Tales title to be developed entirely by Namco Tales Studio, and it's on par with the home console entries. The battle system is easily the fastest 3D battle system in the series and offers the most air combo potential. You can pinball enemies across the screen as you keep warping behind them, Dragon Ball Z style. There's also a loose class system, which is very rare for a mothership title. It's super simplistic (6 disciplines to dump points into), but gives you the freedom to go against a character's canonical role. Story and character wise... Eh, it's alright, which is my opinion on most Tales games. Anyway, out of the 15 Tales games I own, this one definitely sits in the upper half.
