Okay, so it might be cheating having two Duke Nukem games on my list but Duke Nukem 3D is just such a classic, leaving it out would be a sin. For the time, the idea of having a talking protagonist was groundbreaking, and Duke Nukem really got his now famous personality in this game, courtesy of voice actor Jon St Jon. Still fun to this day, it's a really fun shooter that thanks to its mod support never gets old as you can still find levels and mods for it today.
