This game impressed me. Sure, I've played tons of fast paced shooters like Unreal Tournament, Doom, and Quake, but this game took it up to 11, back before it was cool to make games like that. I found this neat gem for cheap in the electronics section of a department store (I think K-Mart) and I was not expecting a game to throw so many enemies at me, though still make me feel I could handle it. I was always scared of the harder difficulties in Goldeneye 007 when I was younger because of the increased enemy account because I couldn't deal with it. Serious Sam enemies are relatively easy to kill and fairly easy to dodge and you had to manage your movement in the levels confines to be successful. I've always loved games, but I think this is one of the first times I was so delighted that I smiled and laughed as the game kept throwing suicide bombers that were screeaming AAAAAAH! at the top of their lungs.
