While this game certainly has its scary moments, its really not that compelling as a horror story. Don't expect the plot to ooh and awe you, just a competent and pretty entry into the modern survival horror canon, in which the player is stripped of any defense and forced to run and hide. I don't particularly care for this development, as these games seem limited in what they can do gameplay-wise and although this game is short, I fatigued of the repetition at around 4 hours, making completing it a bit of a chore. However, I love any survival horror game intrinsically, and this one does a good job with a limited scope. Also, its the scariest game on next-gen, so that counts for something! Right?
