I have little experience with the Strider series, but I can say that I enjoyed the new one. The gameplay is fast and really enjoyable. I also found bosses to be fun. Climbing can sometimes have issues but stays good. The game also gets repetitive at times, but usually picks back up. The game looks good with cool and color-filled environments, but some of the characters could of used a little work. Overall I found Strider to be a fun game with some annoyances that hold it back.
