I'm sure it was great when it first came out, but the first rune factory game I ever played was rune factory 3 so when I went to play the first Rune Factory (out of sheer curiosity of the characters and storyline) I just lost interest very quickly. Having played the third one I was so spoiled by how the character moved and worked on the farm with ease, it didn't take very long to tend to my crops because I could go through it so quickly, but in the original rune factory it wasn't the same and the character just moved SO slowly!

The games have really improved over the years!
