    Tearaway is the first game I bought in 2014, it was marked down from 29.99 to 9.99 at a retailer near my workplace. Why do the best games always bomb so hard? :(

      Editing … @richardpale, that's not necessary the case. Vita has a great software attach rate and games do generally sell well for it, but Tearaway didn't have a good start, sales-wise. I'm not sure why exactly. Was it perhaps the budget price, that acted as a double-edged sword and has hurt the game more than it gained? Or was it because the marketing screwed the pooch on this one so badly? Perhaps the art style was off putting to many gamers as they, potentially, deemed this game as the one for little kiddies, while the player pool is largely made of ''mature'' gamers? As I said, I don't really know the exact reason, but it's sad that the game broke 250k copies sold just recently after all the insane sales it had. However, that's not counting the digital downloads. Perhaps it already broke 500k barrier? One can only hope...
