You can't tell by looking at the screenshot or video of this game, but NHL Stanley Cup was literally one of the most fun games I ever played. I started becoming a hockey nut in the early 90's and this game joined EA's NHL series as some of the most played games in my library. Showing off the Mode 7 graphical capabilities of the SNES console, NHL Stanley Cup's gameplay was frantic, fearsome and FUN! I honestly couldn't get enough of this game back in the day and now I'm eager to dig it up and try it again after all these years!!!
