The Star Ocean series lost most of its epic grandeur in Till the End of Time. Thankfully, The Last Hope fixed many of the problems with the battle system. The new blindside dodge ability makes fighting much more convenient, especially when the monsters are crowding people into a corner. There are a few nit-picking problems here and there, but this is a fantastic title in the Star Ocean series. The story is rather disappointing, though.
