Final Fantasy 13-2 is a dramatic improvement over the original 13. The game lets people freely roam through beautiful environments. Characters can visit actual stores to customize their weapons and armor. However, 13-2 also re-introduced random battles. Although the game gives players the freedom to run away, all the enemies practically appear out of nowhere.

Still, I admit that the game had a lot of fun with alternate universes. Final Fantasy 13-2 is probably the best 3D game in the franchise so far.
