Ys: Oath in Felghana is one of the toughest JRPGs ever made. The giant bosses can take hours to beat. The fun in this game comes from figuring out each boss's beautifully complex attack pattern. The story is simple, but it grips people right from the beginning. The character designs look great. Although the original Ys 3 is a bit frustrating, Felghana improves on every part of the Super Nintendo/PC Engine version. The result is a true masterpiece.
