Battlefield is a great first-person shooter, but the series hit its peak with Bad Company 1. The graphics engine is old, but I really love the wise-cracking dialogue in this game. Bad Company brings an amusing twist to the genre--adding cases of gold bars for the main characters to collect. The Gold Rush multiplayer is also a fun diversion from the single-player campaign. The controls kind of stink, though.
