Although the Star Ocean series lost its thunder over the years, the first games are true classics. The first Star Ocean introduced gamers to a unique story about the technological divide between developed and underdeveloped worlds. Other adventures would balk at such a complicated concept, but Star Ocean carries a surprising amount of drama and entertaining action.
