For a beat-em-up game, Bayonetta packs in a flurry of gorgeous cutscenes and action. The game uses the beautiful environment to show how the difference between good and evil is not as clear as it seems. Near the end, the game throws a slew of spectacular death-defying sequences.

Bayonetta is the best work from director Hideki Kamiya so far. It truly brings classy Ninja Gaiden cinematics into the 21st century.
