It might look and sound like an anime version of Star Fox, but it's also a brutal shmup. Radiant Silvergun has a unique, RPG-style experience system that allows players to level up their weapons. The epic soundtrack adds an entirely different dimension to the vertical-scrolling spaceship shooter genre. The story starts off shallow, but it quickly reaches epic proportions in the final stages. This game used to be extremely rare and expensive, but thanks to Xbox Live, gamers could pick it up for only $15. What a deal.
