Let me start by saying I didn't like Half-Life at all. Mind you, I played it 10 years after it came out. Then I played HL: OF and that game blew me away. I still think it's the best designed FPS game ever created. Gearbox managed the impossible. They took a bland and boring FPS and with an expansion they not only put HL to shame, but still there is no FPS out there that is better in terms of gameplay and level design than this gem right here.
Pros: Level design is outstanding, charming audio, the story and the way it intertwines with the original game, gameplay is extremely tight featuring a superb mix of great shooting and imaginative puzzle sections, great easter eggs
