This is the most solid, well put together magnum opus of an album I've ever heard in my life. Of course, every album has it's flaws and this one has plenty that could be noticed by anybody. But, if you look deep in the core of the record to see what it has to say and the true sincerity the album has for it's message, it's enough to bring a grown man to tears. Although it's "lyrically immature", that doesn't take away from it, more adds to it. It's the perfect example of the rage of heartbreak and what that can do to a man, or young man. From the inner most parts of the album, this message is exemplified perfectly as the sounds of metal guitar and screams flow with each songs themes. The flippant nature of "Why Bother?" alongside the angry confusion of "Across the Sea". All tied up flawlessly with the beautiful, soft sincerity in "Butterfly". This is as close to perfect as any album can get. If you're a fan of Alt. Rock, this album is a must hear.
