Halo 4 is the return of the Master Chief and the first major game in the series without Bungie, and I think they did a pretty good job. We get another look into the Halo universe as this game starts explaining some backstory for it all. We also get some actual development with the Master Chief. There are new supporting characters, with most of them being good. The game has a point around the middle mark where it drags a bit, but it's able to pick back up. The controls have also been changed around with a sprint being added as a standard ability and it works to make the game faster. Forge and multiplayer are still great and are the main selling points, but they've added the Spartan Ops missions, which is an interesting idea, but he mode gets repetitive very quickly. 343's first major Halo release is a good start and hopefully they can keep it up with future installments.
