How the hell did the godfather of the survival horror genre get this low. 2008's Alone in the Dark isn't without some interesting ideas, but is completely ruined by terrible combat and finicky controls. I've tried to deal with this game but it's just isn't worth it. At least you can skip through the game to bypass all this shit and get straight to the ending. It doesn't matter if you have some intriguing ideas if the execution is so terrible.
