For someone who has always had a love for cars and speed, this game felt like it was tailor made for me. The focus on realism was what really drew me in. I'd never realized what it was that kept me so bored with most racing games until I played this one.

With a focus on car setup, track knowledge, and racing technique, Gran Turismo put racing simulation on the map and gave gear-heads like me a game to rally around.
