It's the movie equivalent of a really pretty girl who you've wanted to ask out for years. Then you finally start to date her and you realize that Damon Lindelof gave her a lobotomy when you weren't looking.

Really pretty movie though. Some awesome concepts too but a truly terrible script kills it. The original script was alright too; not perfect but good. It's too bad Lindelof came in and rewrote it.
