"Muramasa" is so repetitive, Halo 1's library level is a joke compared to it

Editing … The structure of the game is a JRPG, including the random battles. But instead of turn-based, the combat is like the old beat-em up games from the 80s. Maybe that's not your thing.

Editing … The combat is fine, what I meant to critizise was that the backgrounds and skyboxes repeat over and over again, i.e. you exit one screen and when you enter the next you are essentially in the same room again, this kind of level recycling has to be called out for what it is: lazy filler

Editing … Fair enough for criticism,. I actually agree. But the art style is so beautiful I find myself not caring. And thinking about it as a JRPG (which I hadn't before) it's not much different than having like one of 4 backgrounds in a lot of jrpgs depending on if you're in a dungeon, forest plain or desert

Editing … I don't think it's more repetitive than usual 2D game. I think it's beautiful. My problem with the art though was the way the items are representated on the overworld as shining points of light. That seemed lazy and out of place to me.
