Talk about an improvement! After the ambitious WWI tower defense original, few would think that the team behind Toy Soldiers would do such a great job addressing the fundamental issues of the Summer of Arcade 2010 original. It's as if they implemented errors into the original just to fix them in the sequel. Adding more ways to play (including the ability to man jets and tanks) gave veterans more room to plan tactical victories and increase gameplay variety in general. But probably the most eye-popping moments included the "kill everything" options, which included nuclear strikes, carpet bombs, and even a Rambo look-alike complete with a Stallone slur. Cold War is a paragon of how a sequel should be made - with plenty of improvements.
