This was my exposure to one of the true classics, and I have to tell you, there's one thing that will always stick with me when it comes to Super Mario World: the secrets. I could talk about the usual stuff like the music and gameplay, but this is the GBA port and the amount of shortcuts and hidden exits blew my mind as a 7-year-old. Grabbing the feather and getting a yellow cap to fly around in still remains one of my favorite power-ups from the Mario franchise. It's one of those games that doesn't have to be "retro"; it can be played by any age at any time, no matter how old it gets. Unlike some other GBA ports, SMW was completely untouched, which is both an advantage and disadvantage. I still prefer this to the original phenom.
