Sometimes I don't want to play a game draped in story and coated in cinematic cutscenes. Sometimes I don't want to play M-rated bulletstorms. Sometimes, I want to sit down and play LEGO Star Wars. If you're a Star Wars fan like me, the cutscenes showcasing pantomimed versions of some of the most famous scenes in film history are a real treat, and while the beat-'em-up style gameplay wasn't the deepest on the market, it was a hell of a lot of fun anyway. The amount of collectibles, characters and extras is, simply put, RIDICULOUS. The 2-player co-op mode is one of the most fun I've had in a game with a compatriot by my side. There are things that only LEGO can accomplish through its blocky charm, and this game is a testament to that.
