The Stanley Parable is one of the most brilliant "games" I've ever played. I insert quotes there because it's not a "game" as much as an experience. Sure, the replay value is very low and most of the environment is painstakingly similar. But that's not what it's trying to tell you; The Stanley Parable presents profound and philosophical viewpoints on the hallmarks of linear gameplay. The six endings of Stanley's journey present an individual analysis on a certain part of the game. It's almost breaking the fourth wall, but the person who's trying to break it is the player (in other words YOU). It's an exploration on the relationship between the player and the path the game presents, and it's freaking incredible. Plus, FREE!
