Spider-Man games are a big hit-or-miss for me, as for a lot of gamers. SD is one of those games that just barely makes it into the middle - It's not criminally bad, though it doesn't aspire to be anything truly great. The graphics are decent and the controls, while a little slippery, are responsive, which is more than I can say for other Spider-Man games. However, it's game-breakingly buggy, doesn't provide much incentive to come back after completing, and while the combat may be fun, it gets very tedious. The stealth sections are a shameless ripoff of Batman: AA and most of what's presented has all been done before. Although it has its shortcomings, it's still fun and a great rental. It's also one of the funniest games ever IMO.
