MvC3 was the first Capcom fighter and really the first fighter in general where I analyzed and studied each character and found each one's strengths and weaknesses. And a fighter really needs to suck you in to initiate that need. After ten years, one of the greatest crossovers in video game history came back swinging. The balancing issues that most fans complained about were fully addressed (even Sentinel was nerf'd after a patch) and new mechanics like the aerial combos and X-Factor really worked and didn't take away from the experience. The music was solid and catchy and the graphics were seizure-inducing (which is a GREAT thing). In fact, MvC3's only problem was the structure of its online options. THIS is how you reboot a franchise.
