Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 defined my arcade experience, and it's strange that it's also one of my favorite fighters. There's nothing truly special about it: The characters are your usual fare, the fighting's solid, and the AI is extremely cheap. Yet, the amount of fun that I had playing MvC at my local Mountain Mike's is unmatched. The music was awesome, the controls were tight, and the fun factor was there in full stride. Maybe I"ll never truly understand why I put this game on my Top 10, considering there isn't much that is so special, to the extent of including it, but you know, some games are just like that. MvC is one of my favorite fighters and still stands as my personal favorite arcade game.
