I had my doubts about this game at first, but once again, all the pieces of the story fall together perfectly for an incredible climax and conclusion. The final case is probably the most over-the-top the series has seen yet. I love that Athena's ability added something new and fresh to the gameplay, but they still kept Phoenix's Psyche Lock and Apollo's Perceive abilities from the past, offering a lot of variety overall. Some little gripes: the writing is not as strong or witty as in the past, and there was a good number of blatant mistakes in the dialogue that should've been caught in editing (e.g. words repeated back to back nonsensically, extra letters, word order inverted). Also, not sure if this game is easier or if I'm just getting better at the trials. Either way, this is one of the very best experiences on the 3DS that easily lives up to its predecessors. Now onto the DLC!
