I waited to make this page because I wasn't sure--should this be "American Independence Day"? I know "Fourth of July" differentiates it but there are still lots of different Independence Days.

Editing … I think the "Fourth of July" in parentheses is already more than enough to differentiate from other Independence Day. "American" is not specific to one country either and it is not part of the official name, is it?

Editing … lol If you really want to get into it. yes we both live in North America and there's a continent called South America but everyone refers to people in the US as Americans. I've never heard United Statesian, and i'm sure if you called anyone outside the US an America they'd be pissed off. But fine, from now on im gonna call you an American now since your so passionate about it. I'm so glad we talked this out my fellow American. :D

Editing … I think as fellow Americans we can work out a compromise. How about you call me Canadian American, and I'll call you United Statesian American? Is that agreeable to you?

Editing … I guess I can sympathize with United Statesians not wanting to be called United Statesian. I probably wouldn't want to be called a United Statesian either, even if I actually was United Statesian.
