I guess that's what it took for me to realise that maybe my body doesnt really like the stuff. (despite it tasting *really* good) In fact it feels kind of acidic, no? First vinegar, now oil. Editing … "Instead of cutting it out just cut down" yes this. Vinegar is great for you if you just splash a bit in or on your food but don't go and drink it. 3 tbsp of olive oil is a whole lot ( that's about 360 calories of oil alone. A banana is just 100 calories for comparison) but a tiny splash of oil for taste is not going to harm you if you just use it for a little extra taste.

Editing … Overdosing is a great way to find out what your body does and doesn't tolerate. If you do moderate amounts of everything you never find out what is making you sicker. I can eat three apples in a day, or 3 protein bars, or 3 glasses of milk, and feel great. That's why those can stay. But 3 tbs oil is way too much? Puh lease. (what's doubly funny is Gundry says you should eat olive oil like it's soup, lol.)

Editing … You think 3 glasses of milk a day is OK? Here's what I know about food: every single thing you put in your mouth is food or poison. If either helps the body function or hinders it. And too much of a thing is as bad as too little. It's a machine that requires a set amount of vitamins and minerals and proteins and everything else. You wouldn't run your expensive car on cheap oil and the body is the same, but MUCH more valuable. I'm pretty bad sometimes I ate McDonald's yesterday and I'm chugging beer like the world is ending this weekend, but I do know it's poison and hurting me in the long run. I think once you start thinking along the lines of food or poison you start to realise how you can hurt your body so easily by eating/not eating things. I think the best advice is to just eat a bit of everything in moderation.

I agree w nod on one point though, all food is abusive if not poisonous. But certain foods are much worse than others. There's a lot of shit I learned to avoid consuming in any quantity, like bbq sauce, alcohol, sweets, and much more.

Not really but it does piss me off when that happens. Vapers too. Vapers are mostly twats because they are pumping out new and unknown chemicals that do god knows what and somehow they think they can vape anywhere because there is no combustion. I'd rather sit in actual cigarette smoke than in a chemical vapor wave. Classic smokers have more respect in my experience because they know that what they are doing can be annoying or harmful to others. Vapers have no such self awareness.

Editing … I agree that something like juice does not suddenly become "healthy" in moderation. Something unhealthy does not magically become a healthy food because you eat less of it. Eating less crisps is still unhealthy (except if you are starving then a pack of pringles suddenly becomes the elixir of life). But there is a point where you can eat something unhealthy in a certain amount where you will not suffer for it if the rest of your diet is overall healthy. You can enjoy the taste of something unhealthy if you want and if you don’t overdo it you will still be healthy because the rest of your diet is good.

Editing … But there are also foods that actually make you healthier but you cannot eat a lot of them because they are too potent for that. Also if you eat a lot of one thing you use up calories you could spend on something your body needs more of but are not giving to it. Then even something healthy like broccoli becomes unhealthy for you at that moment because you only eat broccoli and nothing else. Your body has certain nutritional "buckets" that need to be filled. Some buckets are small and some are large. You want to fill all your buckets but not overflow them. Some foods may have something you need in large quantities but the bucket you have for it might be really small. You should not eat a lot of that food then but a small amount will benefit you and fill your little bucket quickly. Some compounds are also very beneficial in small quantities but poisonous in larger quantities. Everything can become a poison if you have enough of it and yes even water of course. You just need to balance your buckets and eat a variety of foods in appropriate amounts. There is no food you can eat limitlessly.

If you get a good quality bread maker you will be getting great bread for the cost of basically just flour and whatever else you want in your bread. I think all my sister does is dump in the ingredients in the evening, set the timer and then the bread gets baked at night and then she has fresh bread in the morning. Store bought bread tastes like cardboard in comparison but fresh bread does go stale quicker because there are no preservatives in homemade bread. So eat it fresh and put the rest in the freezer.

The most important ingredient is the flour because most of the bread is just that. but... why would you only buy the cheapest bread? That is not bread to me. Bread needs to fresh and chewy and tough and crusty made from decent quality flour and it needs to go moldy within a week if left out of the freezer.
