There are just over 600 demos on the Switch eshop. Meaning I've played over 10 percent of them.

I thought of a method for dealing with demos. I'd have exactly 24 demos downloaded on my console and not play any unless I download more. Then I'd play however many until I get it back down to 24. This incentivizes me to pick and choose which demos are the most important. (e.g. first party franchises... well maybe not so much Mario Strikers, but things like Metroid Dread and Kirby Forgotten Lands)

But I still have the feeling that my maturity has not peaked until I learn to completely ignore every Switch game that isn't Sw/Sh, PLA, and Scarlet/Violet, and to treat the Switch Lite as nothing more than a device that plays those three games. Where's the fun in that, though? I think part of me *wants* to play awful demos. The Switch is a beast when it comes to this purpose.

Editing … I wish your Switch was modded so you could have the full games, for the same price as a demo

Editing … sometimes I would prefer having the demo? I own two games that I didn't try the demo for. Spiritfarer and Glyph. For a while I couldn't decide whether to play the full game or demo first. At some point I decided I should go straight to the full game, so I can review the game afterwards, which I couldn't do if I only played the demo. But that seems like a fringe reason.. it has no less to do with online shitposting and trolling than it does with being an actual gamer.
