For example I’ve always slept upstairs until this new house and at night sometimes stupid teens with no life randomly come into your garden and bang the windows. I was never afraid of burglars and stuff but now I realise if someone wanted to break in and kill you it would be very easy. It makes me think of a previous old lady neighbour. Someone forced their way into her house and she was mugged and hurt. I cannot imagine how that must feel to always be thinking about that at any moment someone could come into your house and do something horrible. Now I’m getting used to “ground living” but it still freaks me out if weird people come up to my house. I want a metal baseball bat.
