I escaped a fiery death somehow this morning.

As I opened the kitchen door and turned the light on this morning I smelled gas, but my finger had already hit the light switch. It's a miracle I'm alive! One of the back hobs on the cooker was on full gas and the towel we leave hung over the oven door handle was on the floor so I know he'd been on the cooker.

The fucking cat actually tried to kill me! His days are numbered, mark my words. He'll turn up in a curry next time I'm home early to cook tea and Claire is at work.
