Holy balls it's cold. I just spat on my sat nav suction cup and stuck it to my truck window, it instantly fell off my spit had turned to ice.

Editing … I think you have it colder than we do since your spit froze, but it still balls cold. Last night it was -7. Now it is about -4. I hate it because I can’t turn my heating up too much because of the gas fairies or something. They are angry and charge me 100 times the normal rate. When it's warm inside I like the cold though. It's like stepping into a freezer in summertime.

Editing … I heard on radio today that you should never let your heating go low enough for anything to freeze. Once your house loses all it's heat it can take days to warm up throughout again so it costs you more money than to just keep it ticking over above freezing.

Editing … As far i know falling below 10 degrees should be avoided as mould will grow with humidity.

Editing … Oh lol someone is living the winter life. I wish I could stand such temperatures but my hands get chilblains ever since my under heated student room triggered something in my immune system. I even have them now at these temperatures but if it gets colder I'm sure the skin will break and stuff. Plus I don't want mildew and burst pipes. I'm not letting it get below 10°C.
