alright, let's talk about donnie | analyzing rise of the tmnt's autistic coding
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fFXXF051ZI

I seem to have exactly two reactions to content like this
    1) damn, am I autistic?
    2) if so, this cartoon is making fun of me! how dare they!! =p

p.s. this is still definitely the weirdest version of TMNT. but maybe that's a good thing. The 2003 series was kind of neither here nor there. Maybe distinct and crazy was always the way to go. (we're talking about anthropomorphic turtles weilding ninja weapons)

Editing … I took some tests before and I'm borderline, I score really highly. I think it's all a load of crap though, people are all just different and everybody likes to label things.

Editing … I'm watching some clips of the show. To me Donnie's dialogue almost comes off as simply confusing or poorly written. =P Maybe having autistic characters isn't the best idea, in spite of realism/representation. Though I still have to give mad props to the show for trying to do more to differentiate the brothers from one another. (e.g. making Leo gay) I think I partially like the 2014 movie for this reason. Donnie is a geeky beta male in that movie compared to other depictions I remember of him. I think I prefer that take over the RotT version.

Editing … oh, the Leo clips are way more entertaining. Leo is my favorite.
