Saved!rockshard PhDEditing … I'm watching some clips of the show. To me Donnie's dialogue almost comes off as simply confusing or poorly written. =P Maybe having autistic characters isn't the best idea, in spite of realism/representation. Though I still have to give mad props to the show for trying to do more to differentiate the brothers from one another. (e.g. making Leo gay) I think I partially like the 2014 movie for this reason. Donnie is a geeky beta male in that movie compared to other depictions I remember of him. I think I prefer that take over the RotT version.
