We're watching the live theatre Frozen on YouTube. Iz hasn't moved an inch or said a word in half an hour for the first time in her life. She's just in awe lol. I need to find out where I can take her to see it properly.

Editing … lol the puppets didn't look like that. The terr(or)er hawks looks borderline satanic lol. I think it's the stopmotion that makes it so damn creepy. the big rock candy mountain looks like everyone is on heroine. I think I'd be really pissed off if I'd have to watch that. I was forced to watch Barney and I hated every minute. It kind of reminds me of that.

Editing … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II5Ge74Nf24 This is every Dutch milenial’s childhood trauma. It's the bad guy from an educational program. He was so creepy to kids that we were not allowed to watch the program at school anymore because he gave some kids terrible nightmares. I however loved the creepy puppet. I loved the whole program. It had very nice surrealist set pieces and it was very well made and well written. quite surprising for an educational kid's show.

Editing … That didn't seem scary, but I don't know what he said. Could 've said he's gonna poke my eyes out and eat them up like grapes or something.

Editing … Nah maybe he was a more silently menacing and sometimes he would burst out in rage out of nowhere which made him unpredictable. The setting was also eerie at times and dream like. The puppet actually had a pretty good motivation to be the antagonist. The puppet was one of the last of the karbonkel race. On the land where he and his people used to live, another highly knowledgeable and highly literate race of people developed their civilisation (it’s a program about learning to read). The puppet is jealous of all the happy literate people because he wanted to write down the history of his people and their lost civilisation but he could not read or write like the people of the new civilisation. The heroine of the story feels pity for him and attempts to teach him how to write but he finds it too difficult to learn and bursts out in rage. He then disappears all the knowledge and letters of the new human culture with the ancient magic of his people, sending them back into the Dark Age. I really liked the puppet. I would always get excited when he would show up and ruin the adventure. I didn’t get why the other kids didn’t like him. But apparently there were so many traumatised kids they adjusted the script for them after the first episode. Also recently there was a mocumentary made about people’s collective childhood trauma of the puppet. Everyone who saw that program as a kid still remembers him vividly.

Editing … fraggle rock is creepy too though. Everything is brown and grey but they act like everyone is super happy all the time. It's like the fraggles are living in denial of their terrible living conditions but they can't face reality. I thought American sesamee street also had very creepy sub tones and the Muppet show too, but I could never put my finger on it. Maybe it's just that type of puppet and puppet acting I didn't like. I think I’ve always hated most sesamee street characters.

Editing … I loved it too but it was also a weird kind of creepy. There were these fat monster things and a pile of trash that spoke(?) and also little gnomes(?) It's strange the shop owner never noticed the infestation of magical creatures under his house.
